Where to fit and why:
The FM65TS is designed for fuel systems with 65mm (2.5") pipes and has 2.5" BSP fittings. The FM65TS is for 2.5" pipe systems with high flow rates and is typically used in power plants, ship fuel systems and fuel storage tank inlets and outlets. If fitted ahead of a particulate filter its location should be as close as possible to protect the filter from premature blocking.
You will need (not supplied):
- 2 x 2.5" BSPP connector
Tools you will need:
- 80mm wrench
- 85mm wrench
Fitting guidance:
The FM65TS is simple to fit for any competent maintenance technician.
Fitting notes:
- Ensure the PFC is adequately supported
- Apply thread sealant (supplied)
- If installed horizontally ensure the label is facing directly up
