A pre-filtration conditioner (PFC) to reduce the effects of MicroBiological Growth (MBG) in distillate and residual fuels. The FM65FS A is designed for fuel systems with 2.5" pipes and has 2.5" ANSI 150lb flange fittings.

DIN PN10 (FM65FS D); JIS 10K (FM65FS J)

Disperses biofilms
Extracts abrasive, ferrous particles caused by corrosion
Fits in fuel supply pipe before first filter

Where to fit and why:

The FM65FS A is designed for fuel systems with 65mm (2.5") pipes and has 2.5" ANSI flange fittings. The FM65FS A is for 2.5" pipe systems with high flow rates and is typically used in power plants, ship fuel systems and fuel storage tank inlets and outlets. If fitted ahead of a particulate filter it should be as close as possible to protect the filter from premature blocking.
