We also supply silencer replacement spark arrestors which are made to order. Our Spark Arrestors are available across a huge range of engine sizes, which include small engines from 3hp up to our silencer replacement units which have been supplied exceeding 1MW in size for stationary engines.

From our Supertrapp Spark Arrestor range we offer a selection of optional resonators which assist with exhaust sound attenuation and silencing the exhaust. Our warehouse stocks a large selection of different sizes, along with many adaptors to supply you the best solution within the shortest lead time.

Almost every Spark Arrestor order will be dispatched on the same working day, excluding our silencer replacement spark arrestors which are made to order. All of our Supertrapp Spark Arrestors are approved by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).

What is an Exhaust Spark Arrestor?

An Exhaust Spark Arrestor is a device used in conjunction with internal combustion engines to prevent the emission of flammable debris. Spark Arrestors prevent the ignition of flammable gasses in explosive atmospheres. The majority of applications will also require the use of a Chalwyn Air Intake Shutdown valve to starve the engine of oxygen in the event there is fuel present in the air and the engine begins to over speed.
